So sorry to hear of your loss. My wife Lucy and I extend our most heartfelt condolences to Joann, Eddie and the remainder of the family. I had the pleasure of working with Dave in the 1990's. I built and installed several computers at IGR and found Dave to be one of the most intelligent and innovative persons I have ever known. His interest in golf were very profound, but I found him to be intrigued in all kinds of technology. He was an innovator in teaching golf. I remember when he found software from some company in Colorado that allowed him to video his students and provide them with slow motion analysis of their drives and other golf swings.
It turned into a problem because the largest hard drive available at the time would no hold all the video. I found the latest and largest hard drive available at the time which was 330MB by Western Digital. The bios would not accept the parameters of the new drive, so Dave stayed up with me until about 3:00 AM until it was resolved and went on to teach a class at the Hills of Lakeway that morning. In 1991 I met Dave and Joann in Las Vegas at Comdex. He was always interested in computer technology. After the show Dave and Joann went to the Siegfried & Roy show. After the show I met them and found they had bought me a ticket to a later show that evening. Thanks Dave for so many good memories. I really miss those days. Had so much fun even when solving problems.
