Beyond the magnificent facade of the Mansion House which greets guests on arrival, lies a 5 star hotel on the border of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, which is like no other in the home counties. However, our guests quickly discover that behind the imposing grandeur of Luton Hoo, the atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming.
The pillared halls and elegant lounges, individual period rooms, formal gardens and the award-winning Wernher Restaurant create a unique ambience of gracious living which is without equal in the locality. The Country Club is set within a Grade II* listed Robert Adam courtyard which previously formed the stables of the mansion house. It offers a superbly appointed Spa, an indoor pool with a view onto woodlands and relaxed dining in the Adam’s Brasserie.
Golf has been part of Luton Hoo’s history since the turn of the century, with the estate’s original Victorian 9 hole course. The 7,107 yard Championship golf course, which has recently hosted Jamega Tour, EuroPro Tour and European Challenge Tour events, offers some picturesque tee shots, featuring 6 holes with water hazards. Luton Hoo’s 7,107 yard long and par 73 course offers a harmonious blend of inland links and mature parkland.
