I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Petz. I first meet Dave in 1988 while playing for South West Texas State University in San Marcos. I had the honor of having him look at my swing and improve my performance as a young player. He was so gracious and patient with me and help me through some difficult times during my early career. Dave played a very important role in molding me into the professional I am today. Hard work, dedication, commitment and above all high integrity were just a few of the life lessons learned under his direction. I still hold these values close in both my professional and personal life. I am so fortunate to have known him and he will be greatly missed.

Thank you Dave for everything and I promise your passion for the game and teaching will continue through those that you touched. My thoughts and prayer are with you and the family.
